We can set up the cabin for a casual dining experience, ideal for hearty hors d’oeuvres or a buffet. Guests can sit down in the cabin or eat “picnic style” on the upper deck while taking in the sights. Don’t forget dessert!

Dance under the stars on the Sacre Bleu

As you take in a colorful sunset or the breathtaking stars, you and your guests can enjoy a relaxing time out on the lake appreciating the expansive view of the beautiful Straits area afforded guests on the Sacre Bleu. With its spacious open deck, this vessel is the ideal setting for cocktails, dinner or dance parties with room for up to 210 guests. Among the many upgrades on the Sacre Bleu after an extensive renovation in 2013, we improved her sound system so it’s possible to play music from an MP3 player through the boat’s fantastic surround sound speakers so your guests can enjoy your personal playlist during the cruise. This vessel is the perfect setting for a memorable event your guests are sure to talk about for years to come.

“It’s wonderful to be a part of the Shepler’s family again. The Shepler’s team is something I am proud to have been a part of over the years. We have a dedicated team of people here who are all focused on the same goal – giving area visitors an enjoyable and memorable experience, whether they are first-time island visitors or long-time island residents.”

-Cindy Gezon

“Your staff, with their wonderful service and friendly smile, gave our guests an evening they will never forget. The hors d’oeuvres, served with an open bar, added to the trip under the Mackinac Bridge that was framed by the blue sky and setting sun. This was only outdone by the return trip, which featured a full moon and a sky full of evening stars. Who would have ever thought a freight barge could be so classy, linen on the tables, party favors for all and a staff second to none.”
